The main activity in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park is gorilla tracking, and Buhoma Lodge will provide you with opulent, luxurious, and cosy lodging that will make your visit to the mountain gorillas in Uganda unforgettable. The lodge features eight spacious, comfortable cottages, some of which were constructed using materials sourced from the nearby bakonjo and bakiga communities.
Each cottage has outdoor furniture where guests can relax and enjoy a glass of wine or juice while taking in the forest’s sounds and the cool breeze blowing through the trees. The cottages have cosy, comfortable king-size beds, en suite bathrooms with flash toilets, as well as all the amenities necessary to keep clean and hygienic.
Each cottage has a private phone for guest communications in case they needed assistance while in their rooms. The restaurant offers a four-course meal prepared by excellent kitchen staff, with some ingredients sourced directly from the local community. They also have a well-maintained solar system that maintains lighting for the cottages and a central area available for charging cameras and phones in case there is low power.
In addition to being highly skilled and trained to provide the best services possible for their clients, the staff members are recruited locally and give back to the community by being hospitable and providing exceptional, above-and-beyond service with a smile.
