Detailed Itinerary.
Day 1: Arrival – Kigali Airport
Upon your arrival at Kanombe International Airport in Kigali, you will be received by our company representative, who will brief you about the Safari Itinerary and then transfer you to a hotel booked for you in Kigali. Depending on your arrival time, you will be taken on a short city tour within Kigali where you will visit the Murambi and Gisozi Genocide Memorial sites. Day 2: Transfer to Nyungwe Forest National Park
Have an early morning breakfast and embark on a journey to Nyungwe Forest National Park. Have a stopover at the royal King’s Palace in Nyanza for a cultural experience where you get an opportunity to learn about the history of Rwandan people. Have a lunch break. Visit the Rwandan National Museum where you will get more information about the country’s history and culture. Proceed to Nyungwe Forest National park for dinner and overnight stay. Day 3: Chimpanzee Tracking in Nyungwe Forest National Park
After an early morning breakfast, you will head to the park headquarters for briefing before entering the forest in search of chimpanzees and other primates. Remember to come with packed lunch. Day 4: Nyungwe Forest Nature Walk

Day 5: Transfer to Kibuye Town
You will be driven to Kibuye which located on the shores of Lake Kivu. The town has one of the country’s most attractive lake ports which will offer you spectacular views of the lake. Day 6: Transfer to Ruhengeri via Gisenyi.
Today, after an early morning breakfast, you will be driven to Gisenyi. The town is characterized by waterfront and sandy beaches which are good for relaxation. Proceed to Ruhengeri as you enjoy the rolling hills for which Rwanda is well known. Day 7: Gorilla Tracking in Volcanoes National Park
You will have an early morning breakfast and head to the park headquarters for pre-trek briefing by the park rangers. You will then be allocated a gorilla tracking group and you will enter the park in search of Mountain Gorillas with the help of park rangers. Once you locate the gorillas, you will be allowed 1 hour with them as you take pictures and watch them feed the young ones. Return to the lodge for overnight and dinner. Day 8: Return to Kigali – Airport – Departure

You will then be transferred to Kigali Airport in time for your departure flight.
