Bwindi Impenetrable National Park is famous for Mountain gorillas (Gorilla beringei beringei), hosting half of the world’s population of the animal species, the gentle primate lives within the park area, very intelligent and herbivorous in nature, they live in families of up to 20 members headed by a male silver back, the forest was gazette in 1991 and declared a world heritage site by the 1994 to protect gorillas and other species that call it home. For years there was co-existence of the three great apes in the forest until the pygmies were evicted from the forest due to conservation purposes. Day 1: Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Upon arrival you will be picked by our guide representative, who will meet greet and transfer you to Bwindi impenetrable national park, home to mountain gorillas, the 9-hour drive to the conservation area passes through small towns, beautiful rolling hills, tea and banana plantations. We will have a stopover en-route for lunch, proceeding our journey to arrive in the late evening for dinner and stay overnight at

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking and Batwa Cultural Experience
Morning breakfast , we will drive shortly to the visitor center for the major purpose of the trip, there will be briefing by the Uganda wildlife park ranger. Tracking is done in groups of eight per gorilla family, this is the starting point for the day’s activity, it takes 2-3hours depending on how far the gorillas have moved, returning to the lodge for lunch and evening entertainment from the Batwa people, the last short structured humans (pygmies) who used to live in the forest with other primates, they will show you how they used to make fire, dance and narrate stories. Day 3: Lake Bunyonyi island tour
Lake Bunyonyi is the deepest lake in Uganda, with many islands that where formed as a result of volcanicity, we transfer to the lake after breakfast arriving for amid breakfast and island tour, moving from one island to another and ending the tour on the animal island expect to see giraffes, zebras, and antelopes. Returning for relaxation and sundowners.
