This flying option takes you only 2 hours to reach Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park from Kampala unlike the driving option which takes about 9 hours.
Day 1: Arrival Entebbe Airport
Our guide will meet and warmly welcome you at Entebbe Airport upon your arrival. You will then be taken to Lake Victoria Serena Hotel (High end) or The Boma Hotel (Mid range) or Entebbe Airport Guest House (Budget end) for an overnight and dinner. Meal Plan: Dinner.
Day 2: Entebbe – Bwindi
Our guide will pick you from your hotel in Entebbe and take you to the airport to catch a scheduled flight to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, either a morning flight or afternoon flight. Your flight will take approximately 2 hours to reach Bwindi as you enjoy the aerial view of the amazing landscape, the lush highland rainforest, hilltops, valleys, swamps and so much more. You will arrive at either Kihihi or Kisoro Airstrip and be transferred to your lodge for lunch, dinner and overnight stay at either Buhoma Lodge/Mahogany Springs/Gorilla Safari Lodge (High End) or Silver back Lodge/Chameleon Hill Lodge (Mid Range) or Buhoma Community Bandas/Wagtail Eco Camp (Budget) Meal plan: Lunch and Dinner.
Day 3: Gorilla Tracking Bwindi
Begin your gorilla tracking tour with an early morning breakfast, after which you will attend briefing at 8:00 am from Uganda Wildlife Authority (UWA) staff. The guides will lead you inside the jungle to track the mountain gorillas for a group you have been booked for. Gorilla Tracking Bwindi may take between 2 and 6 hours and the experience is indeed worth it. You will spend the afternoon on The Buhoma village walk which gives you a great opportunity to see how the locals go about their lives. You may choose to directly support the local community while on the village walk. Dinner and overnight stay at either Buhoma Lodge/Mahogany Springs/Gorilla Safari Lodge (High End) or Sliverback Lodge/Chameleon Hill Lodge (Mid Range) or Buhoma Community Bandas/Wagtail Eco Camp (Budget) Meal plan: Lunch and Dinner.
Remember to carry along with you your lunch boxes, rain jacket, drinking water, snacks, jungle boots and all the necessary gear to track Mountain Gorillas in Bwindi.
Day 4: Bwindi – Entebbe
You will have 2 flight options from Bwindi forest back to Entebbe. A morning flight at 1055 arriving Entebbe at 1155 or the afternoon flight departing Bwindi at 1405 arriving Entebbe at 1505. Our guide will be on standby to transfer you to the Airstrip to catch your return flight to Entebbe Airport in time for you to catch your onward flight back home or to your next destination. Meal plan: Breakfast.
